The baicoli biscuit, a traditional Venetian dessert, was invented around the 20th century in Venice and is a very popular food among tourists who visit the wonderful picturesque city during the holidays.
The marbles, pillars, the famous 4 bronze horse statues are all some of the valuables that were looted from Constantinople in the 13th century in the Fourth Crusade and are now found in the renowned main square of Venice, San Marco Piazza.
The Zanni mask is rather similar to the medico della peste Venetian mask in that it has a long beak-like nose, and it also is a recurrent mask that you can see when you are in Venice on vacation over the holiday period.
It is very easy for the San Marco Square to get flooded during storms and heavy rain due to the fact that it is situated not so high above the sea level!
