Venice’s culinary traditions originally rise from the fact that they are situated on the Adriatic Sea.

The Palazzo Ducale began to decay and deteriorate in the late 19th century so the government funded its restorations. Many of the previous artefacts were sent to the Museo dell Opera and replaced by other works of art and furnishings.
